The present invention relates to a brain stimulation apparatus, and specifically comprises: a brain wave measurement portion for outputting a brain wave signal； and a stimulation portion for applying a spindle-like stimulation to a brain according to occurrence of a slow oscillation included in the brain wave signal. The brain stimulation apparatus according to the present invention is advantageous in that memory can be enhanced or memory degradation due to dementia can be reduced. In addition, the brain stimulation apparatus according to the present invention is advantageous in that hippocampus-dependent memory can be improved. In addition, a portable apparatus according to the present invention is advantageous in that the brain stimulation apparatus can be controlled and monitored thereby.
