A blower includes a fan for generating an air flow, a motor for driving thefan to rotateabout a central axis, a battery pack for supplying power to the motor, an airduct portionincluding an air duct, the air duct extending long the central axis, acoupling portion for couplingwith the battery pack, and a connection portion for connecting the air ductportion with thecoupling portion. The fan is received in the air duct. The air duct includesan air duct inlet and anair duct outlet which are respectively located at the two ends of the airduct. The air duct inlet islocated between the air duct outlet and the coupling portion. The connectionportion is providedwith an air intake space located between the air duct inlet and the couplingportion. The airintake space is opened in a radial direction of the central axis.
