The present invention relates to a method for setting measuring direction of surgical navigation which comprises the steps of: obtaining front side images of the surgical navigation in real time basis； obtaining measurement area data through the surgical navigation； matching the measurement area data to the front side images； providing the front side images to which the measurement area data is matched to a user； and setting installation direction of the navigation by the user.본 발명은 수술용 내비게이션의 측정 방향 설정 방법에 있어서, 수술용 내비게이션의 전방영상을 실시간으로 획득하는 단계와, 상기 수술용 내비게이션을 통해 측정 영역 데이터를 획득하는 단계와, 상기 전방영상에 상기 측정 영역 데이터를 정합하는 단계와, 상기 측정 영역 데이터가 정합된 전방영상을 사용자에게 제공하는 단계 및 상기 사용자에 의해 상기 내비게이션의 설치방향을 설정하는 단계를 포함한다.
