PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant growing device easy in removal of expanding roots of plants in a cultivation room, sterilization of soil, or the like.SOLUTION: A plant growing device 1 includes: a cartridge 2 filled with plant growing soil and plant seeds and a pot 3 for containing the cartridge 2. The cartridge 2 is formed of a material that allows adsorption and penetration of moisture at saturated humidity.
