USE OF RIFAPENTINE IN THE TREATMENT OF TUBERCULOSIS IN PATIENTS INFECTED WITH THE HUMAN IMMUNODEFICIENCY VIRUS (HIV) / ACQUIRED IMMUNE DEFICIENCY SYNDROME (AIDS) AND TREATED WITH AN ANTIRETROVIRAL COMBINATION
The invention relates to new doses and regimens of rifapentine and use in the treatment of active tuberculosis disease or tuberculosis infection in patients infected with the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) / acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS) and treated with a combined antiretroviral combination, in particular with an efavirenz-based combination, and more particularly with a combination of efavirenz, emtricitabine and tenofovir disoproxil fumarate.Linvention concerne de nouvelles doses et de nouveaux schémas posologiques de rifapentine et lutilisation dans le traitement dune maladie de tuberculose active ou dune infection par la tuberculose chez des patients infectés par le virus dimmunodéficience humaine (VIH)/syndrome dimmunodéficience acquise (SIDA) et traités par une combinaison antirétrovirale combinée, en particulier par une combinaison à base défavirenz, et plus particulièrement par une combinaison défavirenz, demtricitabine et de fumarate de ténofovir disoproxil.
