PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive radiation detector which is compact even with a light source for emitting calibration light added thereto.SOLUTION: The radiation detector includes: a sensor panel having a photoelectric conversion part having a plurality of photoelectric conversion elements on a substrate a wavelength converter provided on the photoelectric conversion part of the sensor panel for converting radioactive rays into light sensible by the photoelectric conversion element and a light source provided on the wavelength converter for irradiating light to the photoelectric conversion part of the sensor panel.
