The invention provides a connection member of a fishing reel effective for suppressing the deformation of a seal caused by the application of force on the connection member and enabling sure sealing of the gap between a shaft member and the connection member. A pressing member 61 (an example of the connection member) is connected to a non-circular part 8c formed on the outer circumference of a spool supporting shaft 8 of a reel in a non-rotational manner and is provided with a main body 70 and a sealing member 71. The main body has a non-circular hole 70c engaging with the non-circular part in a manner to inhibit the relative rotation. The sealing member has a sealing hole 71a placed coaxially on the non-circular hole to enable the contact with the non-circular hole, is placed on the main body and is made of an elastic material.[과제] 낚시용 릴의 연결 부재에서, 연결 부재에 힘이 작용하였을 때의 실의 변형을 억제하여, 축 부재와 연결 부재의 간극을 확실하게 밀폐할 수 있도록 한다.[해결 수단] 압압 부재(연결 부재의 일례, 61)는 릴에 이용되는 스풀 지지 축(8)의 외주에 형성된 비원형부(8c)에 회전 불가능하게 연결되는 압압 부재(61)이며, 본체 부재(70)와 실(seal) 부재(71)를 구비하고 있다. 본체 부재는 비원형부에 회전 불가능하게 계합하는 비원형 구멍(70c)을 가지고 있다. 실 부재는 비원형 구멍에 축 방향으로 나란히 배치되고 비원형 구멍에 접촉 가능한 실(seal) 구멍(71a)을 가지고, 본체 부재에 설치되는 탄성체제(彈性體製) 부재이다.
