The vertebral braces, which have been distributed so far, measure a person''s body shape, apply heat to the plastic to the most similar plaster model, soften it, and then shape it as a human body. However, the cost of the product was high due to the addition of cost as fit to each patient''s body type, and the patient was unstable because of the unstable dimensions when the patient''s body shape changed. However, the designed orthosis can be easily worn by anyone alone, and it is not a customized brace for the body shape, but it has a basic human body shape and adds the function to automatically fit the body shape. The spine brace is adjustable and allows you to pull your shoulders back so you stay in the right position.지금까지 유통되고 있는 척추보조기는 사람의 체형을 측정하여 가장 비슷한 석고 모형에다가 플라스틱에 열을 가하여 부드럽게 한 다음, 사람 체형의 형태를 갖추도록 만드는 것이 일반적인 방법으로 맞춤형 보조기라고 부른다그러나 각각의 환자 체형에 맞춤으로서 비용이 추가되어 그 제품의 가격이 높았으며 환자가 체형변화가 있을 경우 치수가 불안정하여 불편하였다. 그러나 본 고안한 보조기는 누구나 쉽게 혼자서도 착용이 가능하고 체형에 맞추어 제작하는 형태의 맞춤형의 보조기가 아닌, 기본적인 인간 체형의 형태를 가지고 자동으로 체형에 맞추는 기능을 추가하여 환자 각각의 체형에 따라서 일정한 사이즈 조절이 가능하며 어깨를 뒤쪽으로 잡아당길 수 있어 바른자세를 유지하게 하는 허리 보조기(Spine Brace )이다.
