PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental X-ray photographing apparatus capable of easily positioning the head of a subject.SOLUTION: A dental X-ray photographing apparatus comprises: a rotating arm 10 having an X-ray generation part 2 and an X-ray detection part 3； an arm support part 20 for rotatably supporting the rotating arm 10； a support part 30 for liftably supporting the arm support part 20； a jaw positioning part 50, which is liftably supported by the support part 30, for supporting the jaw part of a subject provided between the X-ray generation part 2 and the X-ray detection part 3； and a camera 33 which is provided for either one of the support part 30 and the jaw positioning part 50, and is capable of performing photographing from a front direction of the jaw part of the subject supported by the jaw positioning part 50.
