This invention relates to a method wherein 4-dihydroxiboryl-DL-phenylalanine and 1,10-phenanthrolin-5,6-dion molecules are combined to produce a final product in the structure of (4-(2-amino-2-(10,11-dioxo-10,11-dihydro-5H-imidaso[1,5,4,3-1mn][1,10]phenanthrolin-5-il]ethyl]phenyl]boronic acid and a compound obtained by this method, having anti-carcinogenic effect affecting cancer cell lines and inducing apoptosis in these cells by means of its boron content, and thus preventing the tumours in the patient's body from growing.
