An apparatus (25) for automatically coating a human body (13) and a method therefor, comprising: a coating chamber (26) for receiving and covering the entire human body (13), a preparation container (30) for containing a predetermined liquid preparation to be coated on the skin of the human body (13)； at least one nozzle assembly (26), which is arranged in the coating chamber (26), and which is used for receiving the predetermined coating liquid from the preparation container (30) and for spraying the predetermined coating liquid onto the skin of the human body (13) within the coating chamber (26). The apparatus (25) for automatic coating a human body (13) is capable of uniform coating, may easily coat the skin on the entire body, so as to reduce the use of unnecessary components such as a thickener and polymer, and remain unaffected by the environment； the present invention may ensure that the coating liquid is uniformly coated on the human body (13).
