PURPOSE: A tomosynthesis focal plane determination device and method are provided to improve the bandwidth of focus by situating a focal plane in the center point of an image object and to offer an optimum image in which quality is improved. CONSTITUTION: An x-rays optical source part(11) which generates x-rays is installed in one end of a rotating arm(10). A location movement member(20) is connected to a rotary shaft(12) which is formed in the other end of the rotating arm. The location movement member is installed to be possible to slide according to a vertical pillar. An x-rays detector(40) obtains the x-rays which is emitted from the x-rays optical source part. A pressure pedal(50) pressurizes the breast of a patient which is put on the x-rays detector to a X-ray detector direction.
