PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air purifier with good usability, wherein an engaging means included in a lid body that detachably fits to an opening for inserting or removing an air purifying part does not project.SOLUTION: A rear cover 63 of a case has a suction port 33 for inserting or removing an air purifying part 11 that purifies air. A rear panel 7 has a plurality of ventilation holes, and is detachably fitted to the suction port 33. Outside air is sucked from the plurality of ventilation holes in the rear panel 7, and the sucked air is purified by the air purifying part 11 and blown out.
