PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray diagnostic device the running cost of which can be reduced by limiting the capacity of a power supply facility required for the X-ray diagnostic device using a battery, when a commercial power supply and a battery power supply are used while being switched.SOLUTION: The X-ray diagnostic device comprises high voltage generation means, a first power supply, a battery, and power supply switching means. The high voltage generation means applies a high voltage to an X-ray tube in order to generate X-rays.
