PURPOSE: A cinerary urn and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to apply a preservative function and an antibacterial function to a cinerary urn itself by using natural materials, thereby preserving a powdered bone of a deceased person. CONSTITUTION: A cinerary urn manufacturing method comprises following steps. A biscuit firing of an inner storage box capable of containing a powdered bone is performed(S101). The biscuit fired inner storage box is coated with natural preservative material(S102). The preservative processed inner storage box is dried(S103). The inner storage box is installed in the inside of an outer storage box(S104).
