Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Quetiapin-Granulat bestehend aus Quetiapin oder einem Salz davon, einem Copolymer aus Methacrylsäureestern und einem Zuckeralkohol, worin das Massenverhältnis zwischen Quetiapin oder einem Salz davon und dem Copolymer aus Methacrylsäureestern von 3:1 bis 12:1, vorzugsweise von 5:1 bis 10:1 beträgt. Ferner betrifft die Erfindung ein Verfahren zur Herstellung des erfindungsgemäßen Granulats sowie Tabletten, welche dieses Granulat enthalten, und deren Verwendung zur Behandlung von Schizophrenie oder von Angstzuständen.
