PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a pest control agent which can be applied ex post fact even to a general household where finished articles using rusty metal are arranged without adversely affecting the metal and can be used without causing health damage and a pest control material constituting a part or all of a structure and having the pest control agent.SOLUTION: Vetiver chip is immersed in extract in a container and active constituents are extracted (step S2, S3), then stock solution is fractionated (step S4).
