The present invention relates generally to compositions with a health benefit. In particular, the invention relates to bacterial preparations of Lactobacillus plantarum CNCM I-4026 (NCC 2936). An aspect of the invention is a composition for use in the treatment or prevention of skin infections comprising a bacterial preparation of Lactobacillus plantarum CNCM I-4026. A further aspect is a cosmetic composition comprising a bacterial preparation of Lactobacillus plantarum CNCM I-4026.La présente invention concerne de manière générale des compositions bénéfiques pour la santé.
