PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid thickening composition which can be simply dispersed and used in a production plant where it is unable to use equipment such as a powder dissolver or a propeller for stirring or a solvent for dispersing such as an alcohol, and still more by the consumer public.SOLUTION: The problem is solved by making a surface of xanthan gum be bonded to a metal salt. That is to say, the surface of xanthan gum is modified and, as a result, dispersibility in water is remarkably improved and the thickening composition can be molded in a solid shape even when not tabletted with excessive tabletting pressure. It is essential to make the surface of xanthan gum be bonded to the metal salt for this phenomenon to be witnessed, and this is not witnessed in a step of mixing xanthan gum with the metal salt in a powder state and tableting the mixed powder.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】本発明は、粉末溶解機、攪拌用プロペラ等の設備や、アルコール等の分散用の溶媒が使用できない製造工場や一般消費者でも、簡単に分散、使用することが可能な固形状の増粘用組成物を提供する事を目的とする。【解決手段】キサンタンガム表面に金属塩を結着させることにより上記課題を解決する。すなわち、キサンタンガムの表面が改質し、水への分散性が著しく向上するとともに過度な打圧で打錠しなくても固形状に成形できる。この現象は、キサンタンガム表面に金属塩を結着することが必須であり、キサンタンガムに金属塩を粉体混合し打錠する工程では見られない。【選択図】なし
