A surgical implant and method for insertion of the same into a biological lumen. The implant has an outer ring having an outer wall and an inner wall the outer ring disposed about a central axis. The implant further has an inner ring adjacent to the outer ring inner wall disposed about the central axis defining an annular opening. The implant has a plurality of petals flexibly attached to the inner ring and disposed about the central axis, the petals substantially occluding the annular opening in a first state and elastically opening to provide a variably sized bore in a second state to permit passage of a substance through the lumen.Linvention concerne un implant chirurgical et son procédé dintroduction dans une lumière biologique. Limplant présente une bague extérieure comportant une paroi extérieure et une paroi intérieure, la bague extérieure étant disposée autour dun axe central. Limplant comporte, en outre, une bague intérieure adjacente à la paroi intérieure de la bague extérieure disposée autour de laxe central délimitant une ouverture annulaire. Limplant comporte plusieurs pétales fixés de manière flexible à la bague intérieure et disposés autour de laxe central, les pétales obstruant essentiellement louverture annulaire dans une première configuration et souvrant de façon élastique pour former un trou de taille variable dans une seconde configuration de façon à permettre le passage dune substance à travers la lumière.
