PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for manufacturing a dental molded article from a blank.SOLUTION: The system has a machining tool for machining the blank (2) and a workpiece holder (4) for fixing the blank (2) during machining. In this case, the machining tool has a mount (6) for the workpiece (4) and the workpiece holder (4) has a shank area (8) which can be reversibly inserted into the mount (6) and can be fixed at the position of the amount (6) in the state of being inserted. Further, the system has a lever element (12) and the system is constituted such that the lever element (12) can clamp between the mount (6) at one side and the shank area (8) at the other side for fixing the shank area (8) at the position of the mount (6).
