PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide clippers for horticulture, reducing wind noise of the exhaust to improve the work environment.SOLUTION: A hedge trimmer 10 includes: an electric motor 21 provided upright in the interior of an outer shell housing 11 a pair of Shear blades 31, 32 reciprocated relatively through a crank mechanism 23 provided at the lower part of the outer shell housing 11 by the electric motor 21 and a cooling fan 22 driven by the electric motor 21 to flow out the air sucked from the upper part of the outer shell housing 11 from the lower part of the outer shell housing 11. In this hedge trimmer 10, the lower end part of the peripheral wall of the outer shell housing 11 covering the side of the crank mechanism 23 is provided with an opening 11g opened downward, and the air discharged from the cooling fan 22 is caused to flow downward from the part 11g along the inner surface of the lower end part of the peripheral wall of the outer shell housing 11.
