A walking aid with detection function which includes: a mavable frame, a drive device mounted under the frame, a detachable power unit mounted on the frame, at least one signal transmitter and at least one signal receiver for detecting the distances from a first portion and a second portion on the user’s body to a correspond position of the frame separately, according to the distances a control unit sending signals to the drive device to maintain the distance between the user and the frame, therefore to provide supporting forces when the user needs.本發明係提供一種具動態支撐性之助行器，其包含有：一可移動承載架；一動力傳輸裝置，設於該承載架之預定部位；一距離偵測器可用以偵測使用者身體上之一第一部位與一第二部位分別與該承載架預定部位間之距離；至少一控制裝置，用以運算各該距離，並據以發出一對應之訊號至該動力傳輸裝置，令該動力傳輸裝置迫使承載架與使用者維持於在設定的距離範圍內；藉此以提供使用者支撐力，保護安全。
