in the present invention.the muscle of barbel (barbus callensis) was used as a source of protein for the isolation and identification of peptides to treat diabetes (dipeptidyl peptidase iv (anti -).in this invention, a protein hydrolysate enriched in bioactive peptides, his muscle was prepared by the action of alcalase\u00ae.the kinetics of hydrolysis showed that the degree of hydrolysis (oh) increased as a function of time.on the other hand, it shows that the kinetics are characterized by an initial rapid phase during the first 60 minutes after the oh tends to stabilize (dh = l6,4%).the study of the anti blood - peptidaseiv (anti dpp iv), the enzymatic hydrolysate of muscles story, has demonstrated that this activity is dose dependent.the < sub > 50 < \/ sub > of the hydrolysate) is in the range of 1.9 mg \/ ml protein hydrolysate (o = 16.4%) was fractionated on a column of gel filtration superdex peptide 3 \/ 30.the majority (five peaks (fv) were collected, and their activities antidpp) were determined in vitro.the fm fraction presented the power of inhibition the most important with a < sub > 50 < \/ sub > of the 1.23 mg \/ ml).this fraction was subjected to a fractionation by high performance liquid chromatography (hplc) with reverse phase column chart excel.two active fractions active in anti dppiv named sf and sf 4 were selected for identification.the sub fraction sf 4 presented the best inhibitory activity of dpp-iv (< sub > 50 < sub > = 0.21 mg \/ ml).in this fraction was subjected to fractionation by hplc on a new halo peptide column.the hplc profile revealed the presence of a single peak with a majority of 50 < sub > < \/ sub - of the order of 96 mg \/ ml. this peak was used for the identification of peptides as antidiabetic agents.the molecular masses and sequences of the purified peptides were determined by mass spectrometry and tandem mass spectrometry.the two peptides antidiabetic agents have been identified. the amino acid sequences of these peptides
