PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-in-oil emulsifier type external preparation for skins, which can be used even in summer.SOLUTION: This water-in-oil emulsifier type external preparation for the skins is characterized by containing (1) an organic modified clay mineral and (2) a branched fatty acid. The organic modified clay mineral is preferably distearodimonium-modified hectrite, and the branched fatty acid is preferably isostearic acid. It is preferable to furthermore contain an amphoteric metal oxide or hydroxide.
