The present invention relates to a method for preparing a Phyllostachys nigra extract having improved antioxidant activity and Phyllostachys nigra water and Phyllostachys nigra beverage prepared by the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method comprises the steps of: collecting, washing, and drying Phyllostachys nigra leaves； placing the dried Phyllostachys nigra leaves into an extraction flask equipped with a reflux condenser and adding a 50-fold amount of water to extract effective ingredients while removing water once or twice for 30 to 120 minutes for each in a water bath at 100°；C； filtering an obtained extract through a No. 2 filtering paper (Whatman International Limited, Kent England) to concentrate a filtrate under partially reduced pressure. According to the present invention, phenol compounds and flavonoid-based compounds are extracted from Phyllostachys nigra leaves to a maximum and Phyllostachys nigra water and Phyllostachys nigra beverage made from the compounds are supplied, thereby providing beneficial activities such as antioxidant activity inside a human body when taken to prevent various diseases.본 발명은 항산화활성이 증진된 오죽 추출물의 제조방법 및 이로부터 제조된 오죽워터와 오죽음료에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따르면, 오죽잎을 채취하여 수세한 후 건조하는 단계； 건조 오죽잎을 환류냉각기가 부착된 추출 플라스크에 넣고 물 50배수를 가하여 100℃ 수욕상에서 30 분 내지 120 분씩 1 회 또는 2 회에 걸쳐 물을 제거함과 동시에 유효성분을 추출하는 단계； 얻어진 추출물을 No. 2 여과지 (Whatman International Limited, Kent England)로 여과하여 얻어진 여과액을 부분 감압 농축하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.본 발명에 따르면 페놀 화합물 및 플라보노이드 계열 화합물을 오죽잎으로부터 최대로 추출하고 이로부터 제조된 오죽워터와 오죽음료를 제공함으로써, 이를 음용한 인간의 체내에서 항산화작용 등 유용한 작용을 하여 다양한 질병의 원인을 차단하는 효과를 가지는 매우 유용한 발명이다.
