PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent dye which improves the fluorescent intensity in labeling and can more sensitively detect a biomolecule.SOLUTION: The fluorescent dye is an organic EL pigment consisting of an azole derivative or an imidazole derivative, having a conjugate system and containing one or more heteroatoms, a selenium atom or a boron atom, and has an N cation-containing group or an N-containing group, combined through a linker containing a double bond.
