A method for preparing an L-ergothioneine-containing cosmetic stock solution by means of fermenting Hericium erinaceus, the method comprising the following steps: step 1: inoculating Hericium erinaceus hyphae into a liquid seed culture medium for culturing to obtain a seed solution； step 2: inoculating the seed solution into a fermentation culture medium for fermentation and adding an L-ergothioneine precursor substance, and fermenting to an end point to obtain a fermentation broth； step 3: processing the fermentation broth containing mycelium to obtain an L-ergothioneine-containing fermentation stock solution and using same as the L-ergothioneine-containing cosmetic stock solution.
