PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical ligation instrument allowing operation for binding a lesion part tight with a ligation member and operation for cutting the ligation member to be performed by a series of operation.
SOLUTION: The medical ligation instrument has a receiving member 22 serving as a ligation instrument body including a ligation wire 18 used as the flexible ligation member for ligating biological tissue, and a ligation member cutting edge 16 having a first position in the radial direction of the receiving member 22, a second position radially spaced from the first position, and a shift part for connecting the first and second positions in the ligation wire 18 and movable relative to the ligation wire 18. The ligation member cutting edge 16 is moved on a trajectory intersecting the shift part to cut the ligation wire 18.
