PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vine seedling transplanting method in which a vine seedling can easily be transplanted in an inclined posture by devising a transplantation configuration of the vine seedling.SOLUTION: A vine seedling transplanting method is characterized in that a seedling is lodged down after being planted with a vertical posture in a field and is transplanted in an inclined posture. Also, a vine seedling transplanting machine includes a planting tool (28) for planting the seedling with the vertical posture in the field, and a lodging tool (86) for lodging the seedling planted with the planting tool (28) in the inclined posture.
