PURPOSE: A composition for enteric soft capsules is provided to delay generation of salt reduction during storage.CONSTITUTION: A composition for an enteric soft capsule contains: 50-90 parts by weight of hydroxyl propyl methyl cellulose phthalate(HPMCP), 10-50 parts by weight of hydroxyl propyl methyl cellulose(HPMC), 5.5-8.5 parts by weight of alkaline agent, and 2-15 parts by weight of polyol with at least three hydroxyl groups. The alkaline agent includes ammonium, sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, calcium hydroxide, or mixture of two or more ingredients. The polyol includes glycerin, sorbitol, triethanol amine, sucrose, or glycoside.
