PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of reducing stuffiness by reducing contact areas with a skin, and having improved usability by causing convex portions of a surface sheet to further flexibly follow movements in a longitudinal direction and a lateral direction.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 10 includes a surface sheet 2, a backside sheet 3, and an absorber 4 interposed between both sheets. The surface sheet includes a plurality of skin-side convex portions projecting to a skin-facing surface side, and skin-side concave portions located between the skin-side convex portions. The surface sheet consists of a nonwoven fabric 1 with a concavo-convex structure in which the skin-side convex portions and the skin-side concave portions are alternately and continuously arranged along two different mutually-crossing directions.
