PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cover surroundings of wearers legs appropriately as well as avoid generation of trims in the manufacturing process of a disposable diaper.SOLUTION: A disposable diaper includes an absorbent body 10 and side flap members 20 arranged in both width-directional left/right sides of the absorbent body 10, the side flap member 20 has a base end part 21 extending in a longer direction from a front body 1 to a back body 2 and an extension part 22 extending from the base end part 21 outward in the width direction in the front body 1 and the back body 2.
