The invention relates to an anti-slip device (2) of a walking aid for securing to a ground-side end of a support cane (1) or support stick (1), comprising a securing device (20) in which a swivelling loop (21) is mounted such that it can swivel about a swivel axis (S) from a swivelling position into an operating position, wherein an ice claw body (22) is arranged on the end of the swivelling loop (21) opposite the securing device (20), which can be brought into contact with a sub-surface in the operating position, wherein the risk for the user or an item of clothing is reduced when the swivelling loop (21) is brought into the swivelling position. This is achieved in that the ice claw body (22) is mounted such that it can swivel about a swivel axis (O) of the body relative to the extension direction (V) of the swivelling loop (21), in such a way that, when the swivelling loop (21) is swivelled about the swivel axis (S), an orientation of the ice claw body (22) can reach at least approximately 90° to the extension direction (V) of the swivel loop (21) in the operating position, and can reach at least approximately 0° or 180° to the extension direction (V) of the swivelling loop (21) in the swivelling position of the swivelling loop (21).
