Die Erfindung betrifft eine Abdeckvorrichtung (9) für ein Beet (3, 5, 7), umfassend zumindest zwei bogenförmige Stützen (10, 11), die jeweils eine Sehne (a) überspannen und in einem Abstand (b) im wesentlichen parallel zueinander angeordnet sind, sowie ein flexibles Deckelement (20) zum Überspannen einer Fläche, die sich aus der Sehne (a) und dem Abstand (b) bildet, wobei das Deckelement (20) in einem betriebsgemäßen Zustand der Abdeckvorrichtung (9) auf Oberseiten (16) der Stützen (10, 11) liegt. Erfindungswesentlich ist dabei, dass am Deckelement (20) eine Verstelleinrichtung (30, 31) zum Variieren der vom Deckelement (20) überspannten Fläche angeordnet ist.
