PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily and stably manufacturing a liquid inspection tool by airtightly enclosing a liquid absorbing body with a lateral body, a retaining base body, and a surface cover body.SOLUTION: A liquid absorbing body sheet 4 and a lateral body sheet 2 are overlaid. The liquid absorbing body sheet 4 and a liquid absorbing body forming region 115a of the lateral body sheet 2 are held between a punch portion 36 and a knock-out portion 27, and then the liquid absorbing body sheet 4 and a lateral body forming portion 113a of the lateral body sheet 2 are held between a die portion 23 and a stripper portion 33. Next, the punch portion 36 and the knock-out portion 27 are displaced to a predetermined position, such that a narrow strip-shaped liquid absorbing body 115 comprising a punch-out portion 4a of the liquid absorbing body sheet 4 is disposed between the lateral body sheets 2. Subsequently, a retaining base body sheet 6 is bonded to an undersurface of the lateral body sheet 2, further a surface cover body sheet is bonded to an upper surface of the lateral body sheet 2, and lastly a pattern shape corresponding to a shape of a liquid inspection tool is punched out to thereby obtain a liquid inspection tool with a predetermined shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
