PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indwelling needle allowing an operator to perform a storage motion of a needle hub in one hand and capable of narrowing a distal end.SOLUTION: The indwelling needle includes: a needle hub 101 a housing 102 and a movement mechanism 104 for moving the needle hub 101 from a first position to a second position. The needle hub 101 includes an elastically-deformable arm 113 extending toward a proximal end side. The housing 102 includes a front part 121, and a rear part 122 that is provided at the proximal end side of the front part 121 and having a wider width than that of the front part 121.
