The present invention relates to a combination of a sulforaphane precursor, an enzyme capable of converting the sulforaphane precursor to sulforaphane, an enzyme enhancing substance and a milk thistle extract or powder. The invention also relates to a combination of sulforaphane or a derivative thereof and milk thistle extract or powder. The invention also relates to a combination of broccoli extract or powder and milk thistle extract or powder. The present invention provides compositions and methods relating to these combinations.
