The present invention discloses a system for measuring brain volume, which use a light source to pass through a brain, and the different structure of the brain will affect the distribution of optical signal in brain. According to the phenomenon, the optical signals can be imaged or quantified. Wherein said the system for measuring brain volume comprises a optical device and an assessment device, the optical device further comprises at least an optical detedtor and sensors to emit and receive light sources and obtain a first optical signal. The first optical signal change in a second optical signal via the asseaament device and obtain the brain volume.本發明提供一種大腦體積量測系統，係利用光線通過大腦時，大腦結構的不同影響光學訊號在大腦中的分佈情形來進行造影與量化分析，上述之該大腦體積量測系統至少包含一光學裝置及一評估置；其中該光學裝置進一步包含至少一光學探頭與複數個檢測器，用以發射及接收光線並得到一第一光學訊號，再經由該評估裝置處理該第一光學訊號以得到一第二光學訊號，以測量受測者的大腦體積。
