PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide tablets of high dietary fiber content, to provide essential oil-containing dietary fiber-containing tablets, and to provide respective methods for producing these tablets.SOLUTION: A method for producing sodium alginate-containing tablets comprising compressing sodium alginate powder is provided. A 2nd version of the method for producing sodium alginate-containing tablets comprising infiltrating the above tablets with essential oil is provided. The sodium alginate-containing tablets produced by these methods are thus provided. By these methods, as sodium alginate can be made into tablets by direct powder compression, the tablets containing sodium alginate alone can be prepared, therefore obtaining the tablets high in dietary fiber content per unit amount. Besides, as compared to other tablet-forming methods, these methods are advantageous in terms of fewer steps and of needing no high temperature. Furthermore, the tablets thus obtained are highly compatible with the essential oil, being suppressed in oil segregation, that is, the essential oil is held stably in the tablets.COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT【課題】食物繊維含有比率の高い錠剤、精油含有食物繊維錠剤、これら錠剤の製造方法の提供。【解決手段】アルギン酸ナトリウム粉末を打錠するアルギン酸ナトリウム含有錠剤の製造方法、アルギン酸ナトリウム粉末を打錠して得られる錠剤に精油をしみこませることを特徴とするアルギン酸ナトリウム含有錠剤の製造方法、これら製造方法により製造されるアルギン酸ナトリウム含有錠剤。【効果】直接粉末圧縮によりアルギン酸ナトリウムを錠剤化できるため、アルギン酸ナトリウムのみの錠剤を調製することができ、単位量あたりの食物繊維量に優れた錠剤を得ることができる。また、他の錠剤成型法と比較して、工程数が少ない点や高温を必要としない点で有利である。さらに、本発明の錠剤は精油との相性が良く、油浮きが抑制され、精油が安定的に錠剤に保持される。【選択図】なし
