PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create environment suitable for growth of coral.
SOLUTION: The apparatus 1 for rearing coral is equipped with a coral-rooting part 11 for rooting a coral S, an anode 10 electrically connected to the coral-rooting part 11 and a current-density changing device 2, installed between the anode 10 and the coral-rooting part 11. In the anode 10, the natural potential is lower than that of the coral-rooting part 11. The current-density changing device 2 changes the current density of the current which flows between the coral-rooting part 11 and the anode 10, based on the time elapsed, after installing the coral-rooting part 1 in the sea.
