PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce vibration resulting from application of gradient magnetic field pulses.SOLUTION: A gradient magnetic field coil is supported by a static magnetic field generating device. A control unit causes a gradient magnetic field coil to generate gradient magnetic field pulses of a predetermined waveform at predetermined timing and executes a predetermined imaging pulse sequence which includes the gradient magnetic field pulses. The control unit has a waveform determination unit which determines the waveform of the gradient magnetic field pulses. The waveform determination unit determines the waveform of the gradient magnetic field pulses so as to decrease the vibration propagation ratio in a propagation path, in order to prevent the fluctuation of a subject's position caused by the force generated in the gradient magnetic field coil when a current is passed through the gradient magnetic field coil is transmitted over the propagation path including a support part and a bed of the gradient magnetic field coil to the subject.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9【課題】傾斜磁場パルスの印加による振動を低減する。【解決手段】傾斜磁場コイルは、静磁場発生装置に支持されている。制御部は、所定のタイミングで、所定の波形の傾斜磁場パルスを傾斜磁場コイルに発生させ、傾斜磁場パルスを含む所定の撮像パルスシーケンスを実行させる。制御部は、傾斜磁場パルスの波形を決定する波形決定部を有し、波形決定部は、傾斜磁場コイルに電流を流した際に傾斜磁場コイルに発生する力が、傾斜磁場コイルの支持部及び寝台を含む伝達経路を経由して被検体に伝わり被検体の位置が変動することを防ぐために、傾斜磁場パルスの波形を、伝達経路における振動伝達率を低減するように決定する。【選択図】図9
