PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily detachable and highly durable chip receiver, or a hedge trimmer using the receiver.SOLUTION: A first rib 23 is brought in contact with a left-side surface of blade guide 11 above a blade 14a. Further, a right-side first rib 24 is brought in contact with a right-side surface of the blade guide 11 above the blades 14a,14b.
