A method for the concurrent treatment of obstructive sleep apnea and hypertension in a patient, the method comprises: a) providing a flow of treatment to an airway of the patient in accordance with an initial set of flow parameters； b) determining that the patient has achieved stable breathing while receiving the provided flow of treatment gas in accordance with the initial set of parameters； c) increasing the flow parameters； d) providing the flow of treatment gas to the airway of the patient in accordance with the increased flow parameters until it is determined that a predetermined period of time has elapsed； e) further increasing the flow parameters； and f) providing the flow of treatment gas to the airway of the patient in accordance with the further increased flow parameters for a predetermined time.La présente invention concerne un procédé de traitement simultané de l'apnée obstructive du sommeil et de l'hypertension chez un patient, le procédé consistant à : a) fournir un flux de gaz de traitement à une voie respiratoire du patient conformément à un ensemble initial de paramètres de flux ； b) déterminer que le patient a atteint une respiration stable tout en recevant le flux fourni de gaz de traitement conformément à l'ensemble initial de paramètres ； c) augmenter les paramètres de flux ； d) fournir le flux de gaz de traitement à la voie respiratoire du patient en fonction des paramètres de flux accrus jusqu'à ce qu'il soit déterminé qu'une période de temps prédéterminée s'est écoulée ； e) augmenter encore les paramètres de flux ； et f) fournir le flux de gaz de traitement aux voies respiratoires du patient en fonction des autres paramètres de flux accrus pendant une durée prédéterminée.
