PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope cover being usable with various endoscopes and allowing a favorable endoscopic observation according to a target portion and to provide an endoscope apparatus.

SOLUTION: This endoscope cover 30 is slidable along the longitudinal direction of an insertion section 16, and a mounting location of the endoscope cover 30 with respect to an endoscope is adjustable. A distal end 30T is provided with a plurality of scales 30G. When the mounting location of the endoscope cover 30 is easily adjusted with the scale 30G, an elastic ring 32 is inserted between the side surface 16A of the insertion section 16 and the endoscope cover 30. The elastic ring 32 extends along the longitudinal direction of the insertion section 16 so as to enlarge its diameter from the diameter before the insertion to a diameter &phiv3, which is larger than the diameter &phiv2of the insertion section 16. The elastic ring 32 deformed in this manner prevents the displacement of the endoscope cover 30, so that the endoscope cover 30 is fixed at a predetermined mounting location.
