PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand-carry type pruning machine allowing a pedestal plate to be easily and securely attached to/detached from the bottom of a body to facilitate adjustment of pruning height, and allowing a user to confirm that the pedestal plate is securely attached to the bottom of the body.
SOLUTION: The hand-carry type pruning machine includes a blade 3 on the bottom of the body 2. In the hand-carry type pruning machine, the pedestal plate 19 includes first and second locking parts 25, 26, 27 and 28 at both ends in the longitudinal direction to be engaged with the bottom of the body 2, and is composed as a separate body from the body 2. The first locking part 25 of the pedestal plate 19 is engaged and hooked with an engagement part 31 on the body 2 side, and the pedestal plate 19 is rotated with the engagement part 31 as a fulcrum. While the second locking part 26 of the pedestal plate is elastically deformed, the second locking part 26 is locked to an engagement part 32 on the body 2 side. In this way, the pedestal plate 19 can be attached to the bottom of the body 2.
