The object of the invention is the identification of the impactor in vascular diagnostics, consisting of the recording of a digital ultrasound image, taking into account the field and the size of the impactor, which is conducted in two independent and/or parallel cycles, basic and structural. In the basic cycle, after a precise contouring of the sheet field, the image of the sheet, which is in the form of a grey distribution histogram corresponding to the echogenicity of the sheet, shall be classified, attributing the median colour palette, from red to granular. Then, in the same basic cycle, the sheet texture image is classified,according to the statistical parameters and factors GINI, Hausdorff and Haralic. In the next structural cycle, consisting of the classification of the internal structure of the sheet, according to the mean gray, the image of the internal structure of the sheets is classified, taking into account the distribution of the gray scale and its texture, in a manner and parameters identical to that of the base cycle. The result of the single sheet field image and the structural image of the aggregated component sheets shall be generated on a colour scale, subjecting both images to a diagnostic evaluation,with regard to the symptomatic and asymptomatic characteristics of the crush pads. In this case, the distribution of the grey scale, as the median values of the structures, is determined within the limits of 0 to 255, and in the distribution of the grey scale two median, 40 and 57, corresponding to the symptomatic and asymptomatic characteristics of the impactor are taken.
