The invention relates to a composition based on a vegetal extract. The composition comprises an efficacious amount of blue lotus extract (Nymphaea caerulea), obtained from seeds, preferably by hydroglycolic maceration of comminuted grains, associated where appropriate with a poppy extract (Papaver rhoeas) and/or marsh mallow extract (Althea officinalis). Application: treatment or prevention of signs of cutaneous ageing as a result of a relaxing effect.L'invention concerne une composition à base d'extrait végétal.
