PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor, and a hypotensive agent.SOLUTION: This angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor contains peptide of rice origin as an effective component, and this hypotensive agent contains peptide of rice origin as an effective component. The peptide can be obtained by suspending polished rice powder in distilled water, adding amylolytic enzyme to it, stirring them, then cooling, centrifuging, washing, and drying them to provide protein of rice origin, then adding an appropriate amount of proteolytic enzyme to it to cause reaction, then deactivating the enzyme, performing centrifugation, and powdering the recovered filtrate by a spray-drying method.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】新規なアンジオテンシン変換酵素阻害剤、および血圧降下剤の提供。【解決手段】米由来のペプチドを有効成分とするアンジオテンシン変換酵素阻害剤、および米由来のペプチドを有効成分とする血圧降下剤。該ペプチドは、精白米粉末を蒸留水に懸濁し、デンプン分解酵素を加え、攪拌した後、冷却、遠心分離、水洗、乾燥を行い、米由来のタンパク質とした後、さらに適量のタンパク質分解酵素を添加して反応させ、その後、酵素を失活させて、遠心分離を行い、回収したろ液をスプレードライ法で粉体化して得ることができる。【選択図】なし
