FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, pharmacology, namely to a combination for treating chronic pain. For this purpose, the combination contains in effective amounts palmitoylethanolamide, characterized by that said combination also includes at least one substance selected from a group comprising uridine monophosphate, taurine, vitamin E, or their pharmaceutically acceptable salts, where the active substances in the said combination are contained in the following amounts: palmitoylethanolamide 50–2,500 mg； uridine monophosphate 1–200 mg； taurine 50–10,000 mg； vitamin E 15–2,000 IU. Invention also relates to a pharmaceutical composition for treating chronic pain, which contains an effective amount of a combination according to any of claims 1–4 and at least one auxiliary substance and/or at least one pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, where the active substances in the composition are in weight ratios: palmitoyle ethanol : uridine monophosphate from 1:4 to 2,500:1； palmitoylethanolamide : taurine from 1:200 to 50:1； palmitoylethanolamide : vitamin E ranges from 1:36.4 to 248.7:1.
